He once worked as a Fulbright Scholar at Harvard University and the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), and as a part-time (guest) researcher employed by Fudan University, Singapore Management University, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics and other domestic and foreign universities. He also served as a consulting expert of the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank.
