1/ IAMCR 2022 BEIJING | DEADLINE TO SUBMIT PAPERS JUNE 7
The Participatory Communication Research Section of the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR) is excited to receive your online conference paper.
The deadline to submit your work is approaching. Remember the final date to send your paper is 7 June 2022. We truly recommend you do not leave it to the last minute.
The papers need to be submitted through https://iamcr.org/beijing2022/register-submit and we also suggest reading the authors guidelines here: https://iamcr.org/beijing2022/resources/authors

2/ INFORMATION ABOUT SUBMISSIONS
The PCR section has received 60 submissions addressing different topics of participatory communication studies, of which 44 were accepted.
We are now preparing the panels and sessions and we hope all of you can enjoy the programme.
The OCP conference papers will be accessible online from 4 July. We expect that the section members can read the papers and contribute to the debate during the Conference.
Additionally, this year, authors are invited to submit an optional presentation alongside their conference paper. The deadline to submit it is June 20. It is optional and if you are interested in this type of communication, you can find more information here: https://iamcr.org/beijing2022/presentation

3/ PCR KEYNOTE SESSION ON CHINA
As part of the program for Beijing 2022, the PCR is preparing a keynote session on “China as Method: Media Participation in Communication Practice”, with the participation of several scholars from this year's hosting country. You can participate as well. The session will be recorded before the conference. Further details to be announced soon. Stay tuned!

La Sección de Investigación en Comunicación Participativa de la Asociación Internacional de Estudios en Comunicación Social (AIECS) se alegra de recibir sus ponencias en línea.
Se acerca la fecha límite para enviar los trabajos. Recuerden que el último día para subir las ponencias es el 7 de junio de 2022. Les recomendamos no dejarlo para el último minuto.

2/ INFORMACIÓN SOBRE LOS ENVÍOS
Nuestra Sección recibió 60 propuestas, que cubren diferentes temas en los estudios de comunicación participativa. De estos, 44 fueron aceptados.
Ahora nos encontramos preparando los paneles y sesiones. Esperamos que todas y todos ustedes puedan disfrutar el programa.
Las ponencias (OCP) serán accesibles en línea a partir del 4 de julio. Esperamos que las y los integrantes de la Sección tengan oportunidad de leerlas y contribuir a los debates durante la conferencia.

3/ SESIÓN DE APERTURA “CHINA COMO MÉTODO”
Como parte del programa para IAMCR 2022 Beijing, la Sección está preparando una sesión inaugural titulada “China as Method: Media Participation in Communication Practice”, con la intervención de varios académicos del país que este año es nuestro anfitrión. Todas y todos podemos participar también. La sesión será grabada antes de la conferencia. Pronto anunciaremos más detalles. Estén atentos.
