The PhD in Education is provided by the Academy of Future Education (AoFE) at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. The programme will facilitate your research in educational studies and help you make a contribution to knowledge in education.
PhD students at AoFE will work with an experienced supervisory research team to explore a wide range of topics, including educational management and administration, child development and education, technologies in education, teaching and learning innovation, and pedagogies.
Pursuing a full-time PhD typically involves three years of conducting research and one year of writing a thesis, supported by subject-specific and general skills training and development. A full-time PhD student must submit their thesis within four years (or six years for part-time PhD students).
Applicants can have a discussion with their PhD supervisors to specify their research interests and decide on their topics.
