With a focus on cultural technologies, immersive media and applications, computational media, and entrepreneurship with the cultural and creative industry, the School of Cultural Technology is part of the Academy of Film and Creative Technology.
The School combines media, film, motion graphics, digital arts, media communications, and immersive technologies such as Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Mixed Reality to create cultural events or productions or curate art exhibitions.
Working closely with industry, students gain industry and technical experience to develop entrepreneurial and professional skills in art, entertainment, content creation and development, spatial design, and project management. Through attending a series of practical and research-based projects, students explore how to become independent practitioners and entrepreneurs capable of anticipating changes and communicating strategically with stakeholders at all levels.
