The Department of Accounting at IBSS delivers a student-centred education, world-class programmes and an excellent student experience.

Our programmes are professionally accredited with ACCA – Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, CIMA – Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, CPA, and ICAEW – Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, to demonstrate our international quality of education and to help students engage with professional bodies, enhancing their career development and employability.

Faculty members actively publish in high-quality international accounting journals and maintain a balance of academic research and professional engagement. More than 90 percent of our accounting faculty members are affiliated with at least one of the professional accounting bodies: AICPA, UK CIMA/ICAEW/ACCA, CA/CPA Australia, CICPA/HKICPA.
