The National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) recently released a list of Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University projects that were awarded grants in 2022. A total of 3.24 million RMB in research grants were awarded to 10 projects. Among these projects, one was in the General Programme category and nine were in the Young Scholar Programme category.
Five XJTLU schools are represented in the NSFC grants this year, namely International Business School Suzhou, the School of Advanced Technology, the School of Mathematics and Physics, the School of AI and Advanced Computing, and the School of Chips.
“XJTLU attaches great importance to the application and management of NSFC grants. The University believes in actively exploring and making innovations in scientific research, and constantly improving the incentive mechanism for scientific research,” says Professor Fei Ma, Associate Vice President (Research) of XJTLU.
“In the future, we will continue to guide and encourage XJTLU scholars to refine their projects in the direction of advantageous disciplines. We aim to improve the quality of scientific research project application in order to better promote the intensive development of high-quality scientific research at XJTLU.”
