Digital platforms are supporting a new universe of
audiovisual production, distribution, and audience viewing, as they
are now tightly integrated into people’s everyday lives. This panel
aims to address some of the impacts of “platformization” in the
audiovisual industry, focusing on developments on the European Union
and in Asia.
