Unfortunately, free wifi will not be available throughout the conference centre. The LOC has arranged for free internet access points and you can buy a wifi daypass from the conference centre for US$10. Most participants will also enjoy free access from their hotel room.

Travel awards for 25 IAMCR members
The names of the 25 scholars to be awarded travel subsidies to attend IAMCR's 2014 conference in Hyderabad, India were announced in May. The award recipients come from 16 different countries (Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brazil, China, Egypt, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Namibia, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Zambia) and will present papers in 13 different IAMCR sections and working groups.
A minimum of 15% of IAMCR membership fees go to supporting travel subsidies to support early-career scholars' participation at our annual conferences.

Yiannis Christidis awarded the Urban Communication Research Grant

IAMCR'S 2015 conference will be held July 12-16 2015 in Montreal, Canada.
